Earl J. Swan III
Earl Swan began his career in 1962 as a quotation clerk with Bache & Company in New Haven, CT. After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war era, Earl became a highly successful Broker, and Branch Manager for several Major Brokerage Firms including Paine Weber, Smith
Barney and Dean Witter. 
Because of Earl's impressive trading skills and knowledge of technical analysis, he worked with their top-tier clients, including high net-worth individuals, banks, institutions, and hedge funds. In addition to equities, he traded options, bonds and futures. Earl was one of the first
Registered Options Principals. In 1991 he joined Robert Prechter’s Elliott Wave International as
Director of International Sales. Here he met Dave Register, who was then the Chief Architect on a project to develop an Expert System for Elliott Wave International.
Earl returned to Connecticut and became a Market Strategist and President
of an NASD member firm in New York City, and later joined Dave Register as
Director of Sales and Marketing for ExitPoints.com.
Earl attended the Business School of Quinnipiac College in Connecticut for
Business Administration. He is a Past President of the Connecticut
Investment Bankers Association
